New Delhi, 23 July (H.S.): Abhijeet Dipke, the chief of the social media-based organisation Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), fell ill on Thursday after developing a high fever. Dipke shared the information through a post on X.

In his post, Dipke wrote, “I have been suffering from fever and severe body pain for the past few days. So far, I have been managing with pain medication. If you do not see me at Jantar Mantar today, please forgive me. I need a few hours of rest to recover. I will return to the protest site by evening.”

It may be noted that CJP, which is leading the student protest movement, had announced a ‘Chalo Sansad’ march, following which thousands of students gathered on July 20 to stage demonstrations. The protesters have been demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the education system and paper leak cases.
