Kamrup (Assam), 22 July (HS): Vigilant residents of Puthimari in Assam's Kamalpur apprehended four suspected Bangladeshi nationals, including a child, and handed them over to the police, officials informed on Wednesday.

The group was intercepted by locals over suspicion of illegal entry into the country. Police have taken all four into custody and initiated an investigation to verify their identities, nationality, and the circumstances under which they allegedly entered the state.-----------
