New Delhi, 22 July (H.S.): Gold prices witnessed an upward trend during early trading in the domestic bullion market on Wednesday, while silver prices registered a marginal decline. Due to the rise in gold rates, the yellow metal became costlier by Rs 700 to Rs 760 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Meanwhile, silver prices saw a symbolic decline of Rs 200 per kilogram.

Following the price increase, 24-carat gold was trading in the range of Rs 1,44,230 to Rs 1,44,380 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold between Rs 1,32,210 and Rs 1,32,360 per 10 grams. Due to a decline of Rs 200 per kilogram, silver was trading at Rs 2,34,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,44,380 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,32,360 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,32,210 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,44,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,32,260 per 10 grams.

Apart from these major cities, 24-carat gold in Chennai was trading at Rs 1,44,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,32,210 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,44,230 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,32,210 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold was Rs 1,44,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,32,260 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,380 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,32,360 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 1,44,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,32,260 per 10 grams. In Lucknow’s bullion market, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,44,380 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,32,360 per 10 grams.

Similar to other parts of the country, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed a rise in gold prices. In the state capitals Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,32,210 per 10 grams.
