New Delhi, 02 July (H.S.): Purani Dilli-6 on Wednesday announced their 25-member squad for the third season of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 following the player auction, assembling a balanced mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talent.

The franchise has drafted in all-rounder Lalit Yadav as a replacement for India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who will miss this season of the DPL due to international cricket commitments.

The squad also features prominent players including Anuj Rawat, Digvesh Rathi, Dev Lakra, Pankaj Jaswal, Samarth Seth, Rajneesh Dadar and Udhav Mohan.

The third edition of the Delhi Premier League will be held from July 31 to August 30.

Franchise owner Akash Nangia said the team management was pleased to have built a squad that combines experience with youth.

We are extremely satisfied with our squad. Our objective was to build a balanced and competitive side, and we believe this team has the potential to win the title, Nangia said in an official statement.

Head coach Vijay Dahiya said the franchise focused on selecting players capable of contributing in all match situations during the auction.

We have depth in both our batting and bowling departments. Our focus now is to bring the squad together and prepare thoroughly for the tournament, Dahiya said.
