MOSCOW, July 2 (HS/RIA Novosti) - The Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) has sent invitations to 12 organizations and 103 countries to participate in observing the State Duma elections, CEC chief Ella Pamfilova said on Thursday.

We have already sent invitations for our colleagues in 12 international organizations and 103 countries around the world to participate in international observation, Pamfilova said at a CEC meeting, adding that the commission has already received positive responses from 43 countries.

The main focus should be on ensuring security, especially in so-called unfriendly countries, the CEC head said, adding that Russia's enemies are preparing for provocations and sabotage during the elections in September.
