Gold prices declined across most bullion markets in India during early trade on Thursday, with Chennai emerging as the only major market to register gains. Gold prices fell by Rs 1,170 to Rs 1,280 per 10 grams in most cities, while Chennai recorded an increase of Rs 520 to Rs 570 per 10 grams. Silver prices also advanced sharply by as much as Rs 5,200 per kilogram.

Following the latest price movement, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 140,770 and Rs 144,560 per 10 grams across major bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling between Rs 129,040 and Rs 132,510 per 10 grams. Silver was quoted at Rs 240,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In the national capital, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 140,920 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 129,190 per 10 grams.

In Mumbai, India's financial capital, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 140,770 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 129,040 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, retail prices were Rs 140,820 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 129,090 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.

Among other major markets, Chennai recorded the highest prices, with 24-carat gold selling at Rs 144,560 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 132,510 per 10 grams.

In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 140,770 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 129,040 per 10 grams.

In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 140,820 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 129,090 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 140,920 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold priced at Rs 129,190 per 10 grams.

In Patna, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 140,820 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 129,090 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 140,920 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 129,190 per 10 grams.

Gold prices also weakened in the southern and eastern markets of Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar. In all three cities, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 140,770 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 129,040 per 10 grams.
