TEHRAN, July 18 (HS/RIA Novosti) - The death toll from US strikes on Iran has risen to 50, with more than 500 people wounded, Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour said on Saturday.

As of Friday, the death toll stood at 38, with at least 400 injured.

As a result of the airstrikes, more than 500 people have been wounded and 50 have died, Kermanpour wrote on X.

Among the dead are five women and two under-18s, while among the wounded 32 are women and 18 are minors, he said.
