Hyderabad, July 17 (HS): The Telangana Government on Friday launched the New Employees Health Scheme, extending cashless healthcare benefits to government employees, pensioners and their dependent family members.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy described the initiative as a major step towards strengthening healthcare security for employees and pensioners, saying it reflects the government's commitment to providing quality, accessible and affordable medical care.

According to the Chief Minister, the scheme offers cashless treatment through an expanded network of empanelled hospitals, enhanced transparency and a seamless digital platform to improve service delivery.

He said the initiative is aimed at ensuring comprehensive healthcare coverage and greater peace of mind for all eligible beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister termed the launch of the scheme a significant milestone in the state's efforts to enhance employee welfare and strengthen the public healthcare support system.
