Gold Prices Decline Across Indian Bullion Markets; Silver Holds Steady for Fifth Consecutive Day

New Delhi, 17 July (H.S.): Gold prices declined in the domestic bullion market during early trading on Friday, while silver prices remained unchanged for the fifth consecutive day. Except in Chennai, gold became cheaper by Rs 270 to Rs 300 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. In Chennai, however, gold prices fell more sharply, registering a decline of Rs 320 to Rs 350 per 10 grams.

Following the decline, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,43,280 and Rs 1,43,450 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling between Rs 1,31,340 and Rs 1,31,490 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the white metal continued to trade at Rs 2,34,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,43,430 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,31,490 per 10 grams. In the country's financial capital, Mumbai, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,43,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,31,340 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,43,330 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,31,390 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, 24-carat gold in Chennai was priced at Rs 1,43,450 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,31,490 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,43,280 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,31,340 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,43,330 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,31,390 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,43,430 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,31,490 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,43,330 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,31,390 per 10 grams. In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 1,43,430 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,31,490 per 10 grams.

Gold prices also witnessed a downward trend in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capital cities of Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,43,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,31,340 per 10 grams.
