
Kokrajhar (Assam), 17 July (HS): Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Hagrama Mohilary announced a series of major development projects aimed at promoting inclusive growth and ensuring equal respect for people of all faiths across the BTC region.
Addressing the media after participating in a program on Friday, Mohilary said the BTC administration will implement several infrastructure and cultural projects for different religious communities without discrimination. Among the key announcements is the construction of a ₹30-crore ISKCON Jagannath Temple in the BTC region.
He also announced a ₹10-crore development project for followers of the Brahma faith to strengthen religious and community infrastructure.
In addition, Mohilary said a modern Zubeen Park will be developed at an estimated cost of ₹10 crore. He further outlined several other upcoming projects, stating that the initiatives are intended to promote cultural harmony, preserve heritage and accelerate overall development in the Bodoland Territorial Region.------------
