Prayagraj, 16 July (HS): The ninth convocation of Prof.

Rajendra Singh (Raju Bhaiya) University, Naini, was attended by the constitutional

head of Uttar Pradesh, Governor Anandiben Patel, along with the Uttar Pradesh

Government's Industrial Development Minister, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi. Minister

Nandi, accompanied the Governor to Prayagraj from Lucknow by the Vande Bharat

Express. At the convocation ceremony, the Governor honoured meritorious

students of various faculties by presenting them gold, silver and bronze medals

for their excellent academic achievements.

On this occasion, the students were given the message to

move forward with dedication towards knowledge, research, innovation, moral

values and national service and increase the pride of their family, society,

state and country.

Addressing the convocation, Minister Nandi said that

Professor Rajendra Singh (Raju Bhaiya) University, one of the most prestigious

universities, has made significant contributions to the development of

knowledge, research, innovation, and human values.

“This university has elevated the educational landscape of

Uttar Pradesh, including Prayagraj, to new heights. Today is not just a day to

receive a degree, but the beginning of a new journey. Today, you are reaping

the rewards of years of hard work, discipline, and dedication. I heartily

congratulate all of you on this achievement. Minister Nandi said that in

today's challenging circumstances, simply obtaining a degree is not enough. A

constant curiosity for learning, a creative mindset, a simple demeanor, and sensitivity

to society are what will set you apart. You shouldn't use your knowledge solely

for personal success. You should also utilize your talents to contribute your

best to the development of society and the nation. Values like honesty,

integrity, hard work, and compassion should be your defining characteristics,”

he added.
