Islamabad, 15 July (H.S.): At least five people were killed and 25 others injured after two buses collided head-on on Tuesday night in Narang Mandi town of Sheikhupura district in Pakistan's Punjab province. The accident occurred on Kala Khatai Road near Sidhanwali Stop.

According to a report by Dunya News, a bus travelling from Lahore to Shakargarh collided with an oncoming bus while attempting to avoid a motorcycle. Following the impact, both buses overturned and veered off the road into nearby fields. Five passengers died on the spot, while 25 others sustained injuries.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the accident. The deceased and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. Rescue officials said that three of the injured passengers were later referred to Lahore for advanced medical treatment as their condition was critical.
