
Guwahati, 13 July (HS): Students will not be required to complete the fourth year of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) to appear in competitive examinations such as APSC and UPSC, Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu informed the Assembly on Monday.
The Minister said replying to a question, students can obtain a regular bachelor's degree certificate after successfully completing three years of study. Only those aspiring to pursue Honours with Research or undertake research-oriented programmes will need to complete the fourth year of the course.-----------
