New Delhi, 13 July (H.S.): India's Consul General in Shanghai, Pratik Mathur, on Monday visited the Consulate General of Qatar to express condolences on the passing of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The Consulate General of India in Shanghai said in a post on social media platform X that Consul General Pratik Mathur signed the condolence book at the Qatari Consulate and paid tribute to the late leader.

On the occasion, he conveyed India's profound condolences to the Qatari Royal Family, the Government of Qatar, and its people, while expressing solidarity with them during this time of grief.
