New Delhi, 01 July (H.S.): Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and several other prominent leaders on Tuesday extended warm birthday greetings to former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, lauding his lifelong contribution to public service, parliamentary democracy and nation-building.

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan described Venkaiah Naidu as a distinguished and visionary statesman. He said Naidu's unwavering commitment to nation-building, deep respect for parliamentary traditions and dedication to the welfare of the underprivileged continue to inspire generations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his message, said that Venkaiah Naidu has carved a unique identity through his lifelong dedication to India's development and service to the poor. The Prime Minister also praised his significant contribution to agriculture and rural development, recalled the privilege of working with him for many years, and wished him a long, healthy and fulfilling life.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also conveyed his birthday greetings to the former Vice President, wishing him good health, happiness and a long life.

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that from grassroots politics to serving as the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu had set an exemplary standard in upholding constitutional values and consistently raising issues of public welfare. He added that young political leaders should draw inspiration from Naidu's distinguished public life.

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal and Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh also extended their greetings, wishing Venkaiah Naidu good health, longevity and continued success.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conveyed his birthday wishes and prayed to Lord Tirupati Balaji for Naidu's good health and long life.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that Venkaiah Naidu's simplicity in public life, unwavering dedication to national service and steadfast commitment to democratic values serve as a source of inspiration for all. He prayed to Lord Shri Ram to bless the former Vice President with a healthy, long and successful life.
