The arrest follows extensive searches conducted at properties linked to Biswal, during which Vigilance officials allegedly unearthed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. According to the agency, the assets include two buildings, one of them a multi-storeyed residential building measuring approximately 1,700 sq ft, 32 valuable plots, cash exceeding ₹19.72 lakh, 83.05 grams of gold, bank deposits of over ₹39 lakh, two Hyva trucks, two tractors, one four-wheeler, and other movable and immovable properties.
