New Delhi, 01 July (H.S.): Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have reduced the prices of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders from Tuesday, the first day of July. Following the revision, commercial LPG cylinders have become cheaper by Rs 174 to Rs 183.50 across different parts of the country.

The highest reduction of Rs 183.50 has been announced in Delhi, while Kolkata has recorded the lowest price cut of Rs 174.

The reduction is expected to provide relief to commercial consumers, including restaurants, eateries, hotels and catering service operators. However, the price revision applies only to commercial LPG cylinders. There has been no change in the price of the 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder used for household cooking.

According to the Oil Marketing Companies, after the latest revision, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been reduced by Rs 183.50 to Rs 2,930 from the earlier price of Rs 3,113.50.

In Mumbai, the price has been reduced by Rs 182, bringing the cost of a commercial cylinder down to Rs 2,885.50.

In Kolkata, the price has been cut by Rs 174, and the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will now be available at Rs 3,081.50.

Similarly, in Chennai, the price has been reduced by Rs 177, bringing the retail price of a commercial LPG cylinder down to Rs 3,106.

In the National Capital Region (NCR), commercial LPG cylinders have also become cheaper. In Noida, the price has been reduced by Rs 183.50 to Rs 2,930, while in Gurugram, the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs Rs 2,947.50 after a reduction of Rs 182.50.
