New Delhi, 01 July (H.S.): India's domestic bullion market witnessed a weak opening on Wednesday, with both gold and silver prices declining across most major cities. Gold prices fell by Rs 250 to Rs 420 per 10 grams in most bullion markets, while Chennai recorded a steeper decline of Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,090 per 10 grams. Silver prices also dropped sharply by up to Rs 5,000 per kilogram.

Following the decline, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 142,050 and Rs 143,990 per 10 grams across major bullion markets, while 22-carat gold was priced between Rs 130,210 and Rs 131,990 per 10 grams. Silver was quoted at Rs 234,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In the national capital, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 142,200 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 130,360 per 10 grams.

In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 142,050 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold priced at Rs 130,210 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, retail prices stood at Rs 142,100 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 130,260 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.

Among other major cities, Chennai recorded the highest prices despite the day's sharp decline, with 24-carat gold trading at Rs 143,990 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 131,990 per 10 grams.

In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 142,050 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 130,210 per 10 grams. Bhopal reported prices of Rs 142,100 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 130,260 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 142,200 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 130,360 per 10 grams. Patna recorded prices of Rs 142,100 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 130,260 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.

In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 142,200 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 130,360 per 10 grams.

Similar declines were recorded in the southern and eastern markets. In Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 142,050 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 130,210 per 10 grams.
