BEIJING, June 8 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Maintaining good relations between Russia, India and China is in the interests of the three countries, as well as contributes to peace in the region and the world, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Monday.

At a meeting with the heads of international news agencies at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia's relations with China do not hinder India, but the three countries' alliance helps everyone.

China, Russia and India are emerging economies, and maintaining good relations not only meets the interests of all three countries, but also contributes to regional and global peace, security, stability and prosperity, Lin Jian told reporters, commenting on the words of the Russian president.
