Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the resounding victory of his party in Armenia's parliamentary elections.
In a message posted on social media platform X, PM Modi extended his congratulations to Pashinyan and his Civil Contract Party for their impressive electoral success.
The Prime Minister said the renewed mandate reflects the unwavering confidence and trust of the Armenian people in Pashinyan's leadership and vision for the country.
PM Modi further expressed his desire to work closely with the Armenian leader to further strengthen the warm and historic bonds of friendship and cooperation between India and Armenia.
He said he looks forward to deepening bilateral engagement across various sectors and building upon the strong partnership that the two countries have developed over the years.
The message underscored India's commitment to enhancing its relationship with Armenia and expanding cooperation based on shared values, mutual respect and longstanding people-to-people ties.
