
Bhubaneswar, 08 June (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s helicopter made a precautionary landing in Puri on Monday after unfavorable weather conditions prevented it from landing in Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, the Chief Minister was returning to Bhubaneswar after attending an official programme in Mayurbhanj when deteriorating weather conditions affected flight operations in and around the state capital. As a safety measure, the helicopter was diverted to Puri, where it landed safely.
The helicopter touched down at the Samanga temporary bus stand, where local authorities made the necessary arrangements following the unscheduled landing.
Officials confirmed that the diversion was undertaken solely as a precaution due to the prevailing weather conditions. No untoward incident was reported, and the Chief Minister remained safe throughout the operation.
