
ST. PETERSBURG, June 6 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russia is discussing a visa-free regime with Malaysia, Indonesia, Bahrain, and Kuwait, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said in an interview with RIA Novosti at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
We are discussing with our partners the possibility of completely canceling visas with Malaysia, Indonesia, Bahrain, and Kuwait, as well as for organized tourist groups from India and Vietnam, similar to the existing mechanism under intergovernmental agreements with China and Iran, Chernyshenko said.
He said that last year Russia canceled the visa regime with China, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Myanmar.
