
MOSCOW, June 5 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Russia has supplied the Philippines with over 2.4 million barrels of oil since spring, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
Amid the aggravating situation in the world energy markets, at the request of Philippine partners, supply of Russian oil resumed this spring, while over 2.4 million barrels have already been shipped, Lavrov said in an article on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Philippines.
He stressed that the step clearly demonstrates the Russian suppliers' reliability.
