
Delhi, 05 June (H.S.):
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Gujarat and Daman today. He will arrive in Hazira, located in Gujarat’s Surat district, at approximately 2:30 p.m., where he will review ongoing industrial activities and infrastructure projects in the region. At around 4:15 p.m., he will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stone for various development projects worth approximately ₹18,800 crore in Surat. He will also address a public gathering on the occasion.
According to an official release, the Prime Minister will subsequently depart for Daman. At approximately 6:15 p.m., he will inaugurate the new terminal building of the Namo Airport in Daman. He will then dedicate the Namo Hospital to the nation.
Later, at around 7:15 p.m., Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for a range of development projects worth nearly ₹2,970 crore in Daman. He will also lay the foundation stone for four major projects in Lakshadweep with a combined investment of approximately ₹885 crore.
The Prime Minister is also expected to address a public gathering during the event, highlighting the significance of these infrastructure and development initiatives for regional growth, connectivity, healthcare, and economic advancement.
