Hyderabad, June 5: GOADH Foundation and Bharat Ke Anmol will jointly organise the Nari Shakti Awards 2026 this evening at Hotel Marigold, Begumpet, Hyderabad, celebrating women achievers who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, resilience and social impact across diverse sectors.

Founded by Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin, Bharat Ke Anmol has emerged as a platform dedicated to recognising individuals whose contributions create meaningful social change. Through the Nari Shakti Awards, the initiative seeks to honour women whose achievements inspire communities, promote leadership and contribute to nation-building.

The initiative has received strategic partnership support aligned with UN Women Empowerment Principles, further strengthening its commitment to women’s leadership, equality and inclusive development.

The programme will recognise women achievers from a wide range of fields, including entrepreneurship, healthcare, education, media and journalism, social service, arts and culture, beauty and wellness, public life, courage and resilience, and community leadership.

A major highlight of the evening will be the launch of the Nari Shakthi Forum, a new platform envisioned by Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin to promote networking, mentorship, leadership development and greater participation of women in social and professional spheres.

The event will also feature a special audio-visual presentation on the vision and journey of Bharat Ke Anmol, followed by an address by Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin outlining the objectives of the initiative and its future roadmap. Special recognition will also be accorded through Lifetime Achievement Awards to distinguished women who have made significant contributions to society.

Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, will attend as Chief Guest, while Seetakka, Minister for Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women & Child Welfare, Government of Telangana, will be the Guest of Honour.

Special Guests include Mahesh Kumar Goud, President, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) and Member of Legislative Council (MLC); Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, senior BJP leader and former MLC; and K. Kavitha, President, Telangana Jagruthi and former MLC.

The event will also be attended by distinguished guests including Amita Desai, Honorary Consul of Germany in Hyderabad; Shabana Sultana, Honorary Consul of Tunisia; Dr. Rohit Gupta, Chairman, Eurasia Afro Chamber of Commerce; and Dr. Gita Singh, academician and Director associated with Delhi University initiatives.

Organisers stated that the Nari Shakti Awards 2026 seek to celebrate women who break barriers, inspire progress and strengthen society through their achievements and service, while reinforcing the message of empowerment, inclusion and equal opportunity.
