
New Delhi, 30 June (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended birthday greetings to Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav, commending his contributions to environmental conservation, sustainability, and climate action.
In a message posted on social media, the Prime Minister wished Bhupender Yadav a long and healthy life while acknowledging his efforts to promote sustainable development and protect India's biodiversity.

Bhupender Yadav currently serves as the Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and also holds the portfolio of Labour and Employment. During his tenure, he has represented India at several international climate forums, including the United Nations Climate Change Conferences (COP), where he has highlighted India's commitment to balancing economic development with environmental protection.
Under his leadership, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has continued to implement initiatives focused on biodiversity conservation, forest protection, pollution control, sustainable development, and India's long-term climate commitments. The ministry has also promoted programmes aimed at restoring ecosystems, protecting wildlife habitats, and expanding green cover across the country.
