New Delhi, 30 June (H.S.): Gold prices declined during early trading in the domestic bullion market on Tuesday, while silver prices remained unchanged. Owing to the fall in prices, gold became cheaper by ₹1,850 to ₹2,020 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country, except Chennai. In Chennai, gold prices fell by ₹770 to ₹900 per 10 grams. Silver prices, however, remained unchanged across major markets.
Following the decline, 24-carat gold was trading between ₹1,41,920 and ₹1,45,080 per 10 grams in most domestic bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced between ₹1,30,090 and ₹1,32,990 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the white metal continued to trade at ₹2,39,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In the national capital, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,42,070 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,30,240 per 10 grams.
In Mumbai, India's financial capital, 24-carat gold was selling at ₹1,41,920 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,30,090 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, retail prices stood at ₹1,41,970 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and ₹1,30,140 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.
Among other major cities, Chennai recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,45,080 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,32,990 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,41,920 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,30,090 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,41,970 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,30,140 per 10 grams.
In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was available at ₹1,42,070 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at ₹1,30,240 per 10 grams. In Patna, prices were ₹1,41,970 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and ₹1,30,140 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold. In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,42,070 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,30,240 per 10 grams.
Gold prices also declined in the bullion markets of Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar. In all three cities, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,41,920 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,30,090 per 10 grams. Silver prices remained unchanged in these markets as well.
