New Delhi, 29 June (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday underscored the importance of respecting the world's diverse cultures, saying such respect strengthens global trust, mutual understanding, and the spirit of brotherhood.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said that honouring the diversity of cultures across the world promotes trust and cooperation among people while reinforcing mutual understanding and fraternity.

Quoting a traditional Sanskrit verse, Prime Minister Modi said: A person who understands the customs and traditions of different countries, times, communities, and faiths, while also possessing the wisdom to distinguish between right and wrong, earns prosperity from various sources and is always capable of leading society.

The Prime Minister's remarks highlighted the importance of cultural awareness, inclusiveness, and wisdom as essential qualities for effective leadership and harmonious coexistence in an increasingly interconnected world.
