New Delhi, 26 June (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended birthday greetings to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, commending his contribution to the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP). The Prime Minister wished him a long life and good health.

In a message posted on X, Prime Minister Modi said that Dharmendra Pradhan has been making commendable efforts towards the effective implementation of the National Education Policy. He noted that the policy aims to transform India into a global hub of knowledge, education, and innovation.

The Prime Minister said that the initiatives being undertaken under Dharmendra Pradhan's leadership in the education sector are playing a significant role in empowering future generations and advancing India towards becoming a knowledge-based economy.

It is noteworthy that the National Education Policy focuses on comprehensive reforms in the education system, skill development, promotion of education in the mother tongue, strengthening research, and preparing students to compete in the global arena. Dharmendra Pradhan's tenure as Union Education Minister is widely regarded as pivotal in the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
