Lucknow, 25 June (HS): Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister
of Uttar Pradesh, is all set to present Sant Kabir Nagar with 139 development
projects totaling Rs. 475 crore. The Chief Minister's visit would be focused on
the Baba Baijnath Dham temple grounds in Baswari village, which is located in
the Hansar Bazar block of the Dhanghata assembly constituency. Out of the overall
package, he will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for 65 different projects
totaling Rs. 224.79 crore in the Dhanghata region alone. The vast
infrastructure initiative aims to improve rural connections, religious tourism,
employment, and local amenities throughout the area. These projects are part of
the state government's continuous efforts to upgrade backward areas and create
tourism corridors similar to those in Ayodhya and Kashi.
The vast development project, centered on the revered Baba
Tameshwarnath Dham, aims to improve regional infrastructure, spiritual tourism,
and public welfare. Baba Tameshwarnath Dham is undergoing a massive
revitalization, with a dedicated corridor being built to improve devotee
experience, similar to the models of Ayodhya and Kashi. CM Yogi also declared
that Sant Kabir Nagar will be connected to the Gorakhpur Link Expressway, which
will provide economic prospects and accessibility. Along with infrastructure,
the event included the delivery of certificates to recipients of several
government projects, which aided Antyodaya's (upliftment of the poorest) aims.
UP CM stated in a post on X, “Today, the sacred land of Baba
Tameshwarnath will bear witness to new resolves for development, service, and
public welfare in Sant Kabir Nagar. Here, along with the inauguration and
foundation stone laying of 139 development projects costing more than Rs. 475
crore, certificates will be distributed to the beneficiaries of public welfare
schemes. These projects, connected to the momentum of development, the
sensitivity of service, and the resolve for the upliftment of the last person,
will infuse new energy into the comprehensive development of the region and
strengthen the foundation of a 'Developed Uttar Pradesh'.”
