
Lucknow, 25 June (HS): Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey, a Kargil
War hero and Param Vir Chakra recipient, is much respected by Uttar Pradesh
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The state government dedicated the U.P. Sainik
School in Lucknow after him, and Chief Minister Yogi often conducts public
honors on his birth and death anniversaries. CM Yogi Adityanath repeatedly
hails Captain Pandey's ultimate sacrifice, describing him as a role model for youths.
He pays frequent trips to the U.P. Sainik School in commemoration of the Kargil
hero. CM Yogi frequently invokes Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey's legacy to instill
patriotism in the youth, highlighting the significance of the U.P. Sainik
School in moulding disciplined citizens.

Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey, referring to him as the immortal son of Mother
India. CM Yogi often honors Captain Pandey's unmatched heroism, indomitable
spirit, and leadership during the Kargil War via his official social media
profiles X. Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey hailed from Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur
area. His sacrifice (July 3, 1999) and bravery are recognized throughout the
country. On the occasion of the 47th anniversary, CM Yogi, along
with other ministers, paid homage to the courageous warrior who was
posthumously granted India's highest military accolade, the Param Vir Chakra.
“On the birth anniversary of Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey,
honored with the Param Vir Chakra for his unparalleled valor in the Kargil War,
a humble tribute. Your bravery inscribed on the peaks of Kargil is an indelible
chapter in India's saga of heroism. The nation shall forever remain indebted to
your sacrifice and martyrdom,” opined UP CM in a post on X.
