Kamrup (Assam), 23 June (HS): A person and his eight-year-old son lost their lives after a tree suddenly fell on them while they were travelling on a scooter in Rajapara area of Chandubi on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Kartik Rabha and his son, Bhrigumani Rabha (8). According to reports, the duo was on their way to a relative’s house when the tragic incident occurred.

The tree reportedly collapsed onto the scooter, causing fatal injuries to both father and son. They killed on the spot, triggering grief and shock among local residents. Further details are awaited.
