New Delhi, 23 June (H.S.): Gold prices witnessed an upward trend in early trading across the domestic bullion market on Monday, while silver prices remained unchanged. However, gold rates in Chennai remained steady. Owing to the increase in prices, gold became costlier by Rs 420 to Rs 450 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country, except Chennai. Silver prices, meanwhile, showed no movement.

Following the rise, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,46,520 and Rs 1,48,360 per 10 grams across major bullion markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling in the range of Rs 1,34,310 to Rs 1,35,990 per 10 grams. As silver prices remained unchanged, the white metal continued to trade at Rs 2,49,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,46,670 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,34,460 per 10 grams. In the country's financial capital, Mumbai, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,46,520 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,34,310 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,46,570 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,34,360 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, Chennai recorded no change in gold prices, with 24-carat gold trading at Rs 1,48,360 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,35,990 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,46,520 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,34,310 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 1,46,570 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,34,360 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,46,670 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,34,460 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,46,570 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,34,360 per 10 grams. In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,46,670 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,34,460 per 10 grams.

Gold prices also registered gains in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha, in line with the trend across the country. In the capitals of these states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,46,520 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,34,310 per 10 grams.
