NEW DELHI, June 2 (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended his greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of the state's Foundation Day. He said Telangana possesses a glorious history and a vibrant cultural heritage, and reiterated the Central Government’s commitment to supporting the state's development.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “Heartfelt greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of Telangana Statehood Day. The people of Telangana are known for their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The state has a glorious history and a rich culture that reflect courage, determination, and a spirit of perseverance.”

He further stated, “The Central Government is fully committed to supporting Telangana’s development journey as we work towards realizing our vision of a developed India. I pray for the good health, happiness, and success of all the people of Telangana.”

Highlighting the state's strengths, the Prime Minister said, “The people of Telangana are widely recognized for their innovation and strong work ethic. The state is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and distinguished history, marked by courage and unwavering resolve. I pray for the well-being, prosperity, and success of every citizen of the state.”
