Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that qualities such as knowledge, wisdom and foresight form the foundation of success in life. He emphasised that individuals who possess these virtues are capable of overcoming even the most difficult challenges and ultimately emerging victorious.

On Friday, Prime Minister Modi shared a Sanskrit subhashita (wise saying) on X:

Shastre Pratishtha Sahajashcha Bodhah Pragalbhyam Abhyastaguna Cha Vani | Kalanurodhah Pratibhanavattvam Ete Gunah Kamadughah Kriyasu ||

Explaining its meaning, the Prime Minister said that authentic knowledge of a subject, natural wisdom, fearless self-confidence, eloquent speech refined through constant practice, the foresight to recognise the demands of the time, and the ability to generate fresh ideas are six virtues that prove as rewarding as Kamadhenu—the mythical wish-fulfilling divine cow—in every endeavour, enabling a person to achieve every objective successfully.

The Prime Minister underlined that these qualities empower individuals to navigate adversity with confidence and accomplish their goals through wisdom, adaptability and sound judgment.
