
New Delhi, 19 June (H.S.): To facilitate candidates appearing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET-UG) 2026 re-examination, Northern Railway has announced the operation of six special unreserved examination trains on June 21 across various cities in Punjab. These special services will operate between Amritsar, Ludhiana, and Firozpur Cantonment.
According to Northern Railway, Train No. 04666/04665 Amritsar–Ludhiana–Amritsar Special will operate two round trips on June 21. The train will run via Beas, Jalandhar City, Phagwara, and Phillaur before reaching Ludhiana, and will return to Amritsar along the same route.
Similarly, Train No. 04667/04668 Ludhiana–Amritsar–Ludhiana Special will also operate two round trips on June 21. The train will depart from Ludhiana and travel via Phillaur, Phagwara, Jalandhar City, and Beas before reaching Amritsar, returning to Ludhiana along the same route.
In addition, Train No. 04670/04669 Firozpur Cantonment–Ludhiana–Firozpur Cantonment Special will operate two round trips on the same day. The train will halt at Talwandi, Moga, Ajitwal, Jagraon, and Mullanpur before reaching Ludhiana, and will return to Firozpur Cantonment via the same stations.
Northern Railway has urged candidates and other passengers to make use of these special train services. According to railway officials, the additional services have been arranged in view of the anticipated surge in passenger traffic on the day of the examination to ensure that candidates can reach their examination centres without any inconvenience.
