Nagpur, 18 June (HS): Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Sena is
facing further depletion in their strength in the parliament as six of the nine
Lok Sabha members are expected to join Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) group. Six of
the nine UBT Sena Members of Parliament did not attend the party’s Parliamentary
Board meeting on Thursday morning, indicating fraction in the party. Only Lok
Sabha members Anil Desai, Arvins Sawant and Rajabhau Waze were present.
Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut alleged abduction of
their party MPs. Raut called them betrayer.
The six MPs on Wednesday submitted a letter to the
Speaker Om Birla expressing their desire to join Shiva Sena (Eknath Shinde) None
of the six MPs have not confirmed it.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Raut and Aravind Sawant have served
show cause notice to the seix members who remained absent for the meeting. They
have been directed to reply to the notice or face action.
Frustrated by
continuous defection in the party Sanjay Raut alleged that the MPs are being purchased
and Rs 15 crore have been given to them as advance.
