Kanpur, 18 June (HS): “Future generations can become
healthy, empowered, and prosperous; natural farming can serve as an effective
medium in this direction. I participated today in the 'Natural Farming
Workshop-2026' program organized in Kanpur to promote natural agriculture and
connect food provider farmers with the latest technology. At the same time,
farmers excelling in natural farming were also honored. Heartfelt best wishes
to all food provider farmer sisters and brothers,” said UP CM.
“The goal of self-reliance is achieved through
self-dependence, not through dependence on others. Currently, 1.4 million
cattle are living in more than 7,700 cow shelters, and their care is managed by
the state government. We will not let Mother Cow be slaughtered. We will not
let there be any tampering with the country's security. We have identified 27
districts located along the banks of Mother Ganga and 7 districts of Bundelkhand
for natural farming. For the first time, the Prime Minister's Agriculture Irrigation
Guarantee was provided. For the first time, the announcement of the Kisan
Samman Nidhi for our food provider farmers was made.
All of this has been done by the honorable Prime Minister
Shri @narendramodi ji for our food provider farmers. The country where millions
of farmers committed suicide between the years 2004 and 2014 saw that trend
come to a halt after the year 2014. Over the past 12 years, we have witnessed a
changing India, which, without stopping, without faltering, without bending,
without tiring, is steadfastly advancing its heritage and development,” he
added.
