New Delhi, 18 June (H.S.):

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday said that the government remains committed to ensuring that the benefits of public welfare schemes reach a larger number of residents across the capital. She made the remarks while inaugurating a public welfare camp at the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) Community Hall in Sandesh Vihar.

In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12 years of governance focused on trust, development, and public welfare, the Delhi government is organizing public welfare camps at 42 locations across the capital from June 18 to 20. She said these camps are providing information, registration facilities, and access to various central and Delhi government schemes at a single platform.

She also urged residents of Delhi to visit the nearest camp and make full use of the available services.

Separately, Delhi Public Works Department Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh inaugurated another public welfare camp at the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Community Centre in Bengali Market. He said that these camps are designed to ensure that information, registration, and services related to various welfare schemes of both the central and Delhi governments are made available in one place, enabling direct and transparent delivery to eligible beneficiaries.

He further stated that the initiative aims to ensure that no eligible citizen is left out of government welfare benefits and that the camps are part of efforts to strengthen public participation in building a developed Delhi.
