The domestic bullion market witnessed a downward trend on Wednesday, with gold and silver prices declining across most major cities in the country. Owing to the fall in prices, gold became cheaper by Rs 170 to Rs 180 per 10 grams in most bullion markets, except Chennai. In Chennai, gold prices declined by Rs 120 to Rs 130 per 10 grams. Silver also recorded a notional decline of Rs 200 per kilogram.

Following the correction, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,51,360 and Rs 1,53,370 per 10 grams across the country, while 22-carat gold was priced between Rs 1,38,740 and Rs 1,40,590 per 10 grams. Silver was trading at Rs 2,64,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In the national capital, Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,51,510 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,38,890 per 10 grams.

In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,51,360 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,38,740 per 10 grams.

Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,51,410 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,38,790 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, Chennai recorded the highest prices, with 24-carat gold trading at Rs 1,53,370 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,590 per 10 grams.

In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,51,360 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,38,740 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,51,410 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,38,790 per 10 grams.

Jaipur reported 24-carat gold at Rs 1,51,510 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,38,890 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 1,51,410 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,38,790 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,51,510 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,38,890 per 10 grams.

Similarly, bullion markets in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar quoted 24-carat gold at Rs 1,51,360 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,38,740 per 10 grams.

While the overall market witnessed a decline in bullion prices, the source statement notes that gold prices registered an increase in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. However, the quoted rates for Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar reflect the prevailing market prices for the day.
