New Delhi, June 16 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that patience, wisdom and foresight are essential for achieving success and prosperity, stressing that every decision should be guided by careful thought and understanding.

Sharing a Sanskrit subhashita on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said hasty actions taken without proper judgement often lead to difficulties, while success naturally favours those who act after due deliberation.

The Sanskrit verse shared by the Prime Minister reads:

Sahasa vidadhita na kriyam avivekah paramapadam padam;

Vrunate hi vimrishyakarinam gunalubdhah svayameva sampadah.

Explaining its significance, Modi said one should never undertake any task without proper consideration, as imprudent actions can invite serious consequences. On the other hand, prosperity and success choose those who make decisions after thoughtful reflection.

The Prime Minister said that doors to happiness and prosperity open through actions inspired by patience, wisdom and long-term vision. He added that success is built on decisions taken with careful thought and understanding.
