
New Delhi, 14 June (H.S.): The domestic bullion market witnessed a strong upward trend on Saturday, with both gold and silver prices recording significant gains across major cities. Following the latest rise, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,49,080 and Rs 1,51,200 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country, while 22-carat gold was being sold in the range of Rs 1,36,650 to Rs 1,38,600 per 10 grams.
Silver also registered strong gains, with the precious metal trading at Rs 2,60,000 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
Despite the current rally, gold and silver prices recorded a decline on a weekly basis during the previous trading week. Over the course of the week, the price of 24-carat gold fell by as much as Rs 6,680 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold declined by up to Rs 3,400 per 10 grams compared to the previous week's levels.
Silver prices also experienced fluctuations throughout the week and ultimately ended lower. As a result, silver prices declined by up to Rs 5,000 per kilogram on a weekly basis.
In the national capital, Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,36,800 per 10 grams.
In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 1,49,080 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,36,650 per 10 grams.
Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,49,130 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,36,700 per 10 grams.
Among other major cities, Chennai recorded the highest prices, with 24-carat gold trading at Rs 1,51,200 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,38,600 per 10 grams.
In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was being sold at Rs 1,49,080 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,36,650 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,130 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,36,700 per 10 grams.
Jaipur recorded prices of Rs 1,49,230 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 1,36,800 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold. In Patna, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 1,49,130 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,36,700 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, bullion markets in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar reported similar rates. In all three cities, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,49,080 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,36,650 per 10 grams.
Market participants said precious metal prices continue to remain sensitive to global economic developments, geopolitical tensions, currency movements and fluctuations in international bullion markets. Traders are closely monitoring global cues that could influence the direction of gold and silver prices in the coming weeks.
