NTA Launches ‘Pariksha Karmayogi’ Digital Training Programme for Examination Officials

New Delhi, 13 June (H.S.): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a digital training initiative titled “Pariksha Karmayogi: Capacity-Building Programme for Examination Functionaries” to strengthen transparency, fairness and standardisation in the conduct of its examinations. The programme has been made available on the Government of India's iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform.

According to an official statement issued by the NTA on Saturday, the training programme has been specifically designed for examination officials, including Centre Superintendents and Invigilators, who are involved in conducting various NTA examinations, particularly the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG).

The initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of examination personnel and ensure the smooth, secure and standardised conduct of offline, pen-and-paper-based examinations across the country.

The programme comprises four comprehensive modules covering the entire examination cycle. The first module focuses on the role of examination personnel in maintaining fairness, transparency and the integrity of examinations. The second module addresses pre-examination preparations, examination centre readiness, security arrangements and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The third module explains examination-day activities across four distinct stages: before the commencement of the examination, at the start of the examination, during the examination and after its conclusion. The fourth module serves as a quick reference guide, providing a concise summary of key instructions, responsibilities and operational requirements.

According to the NTA, the course available on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform will offer self-paced learning and assessment-based certification to examination personnel. The agency believes this will improve procedural compliance, operational efficiency and accountability at examination centres.

The NTA stated that well-trained examination staff play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of large-scale national examinations. The initiative is expected to establish uniform standards for examination administration across the country and further strengthen the agency's commitment to excellence, transparency and credibility in the examination process.

Notably, the NTA has introduced several reforms in recent years to make the examination system more secure, transparent and technology-driven. The “Pariksha Karmayogi” programme is being viewed as another significant step in that direction, aimed at strengthening the examination ecosystem through trained and certified human resources.
