MOSCOW, June 12 (HS/RIA Novosti) - The United States shot down two Iranian drones that allegedly attempted to attack merchant vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin said, citing a senior US defense official.

It appears Iran has attempted to strike commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz tonight. U.S. forces shot down two Iranian one-way attack drones. Traffic flow through the Strait continues, the source was quoted as saying by the correspondent on Thursday.

On Thursday, Trump said that final points of the peace agreement between the United States and Iran were agreed upon by all involved parties, including Israel, and that the deal could be finalized over the next few days.
