Azamgarh,
01 June (HS): Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar launched a
scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav,
and the opposition alliance during a public hearing held in Atraulia on Monday.
He said that politics is done by being among the people, not by using social
media from air-conditioned rooms. Rajbhar claimed that factionalism and
dictatorship are increasing within the Samajwadi Party, which will lead to its
downfall. He said that the internal conflict seen during the SP's protest in
Azamgarh on the issue of inflation and unemployment reflects the party's weak
position.
Taking
aim at Akhilesh Yadav, he said that BJP and allied party workers were working
among the public in the scorching heat, while Akhilesh Yadav was limited to
tweets and press conferences. In a statement regarding the Atraulia assembly
seat, Rajbhar said that there is a need to field a strong candidate from the
backward classes and that the Rajbhar-Nishad communities complement each other.
Responding
to questions raised by the opposition about encounters on the issue of law and
order, he said that during the Samajwadi Party's rule, criminals roamed freely
and the state was plagued by riots, whereas the current government is taking
strict action against criminals. Responding to Rahul Gandhi's statements
regarding elections and the examination process, Rajbhar said that such
statements no longer hold any political significance and that the central
government is fully engaged in serving the nation.
