Lucknow,
04 May (HS): Yogi Adityanath participated actively in the assembly election campaigns
in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry, pushing the double-engine
government model and emphasizing security and development issues. Yogi
Adityanath campaigned extensively in West Bengal, organizing rallies against
the ruling TMC, citing a breakdown in law and order, and promising a
riot-free Bengal akin to his tenure in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP
appears to be making a strong push, as it has crossed 190 seats.
Yogi
Adityanath campaigned in Assam, criticizing the Congress party's diminished
presence and backing the BJP's quest for a second term under Chief Minister
Himanta Biswa Sarma. Initial indications showed that the BJP-led NDA
administration in sweeping polls with over 100 seats in the state. The election
outcomes, particularly in West Bengal, are viewed as critical for the BJP's
national position and for influencing the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in
2027.
UP
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have strong
double-engine cooperation, with Yogi praising Modi's leadership for
the BJP's triumph in the Bengal, Assam & Puducherry assembly polls. Their
alignment is on growth, national security, and Hindutva, and preparations for
the 2027 elections are already beginning. Yogi has regularly credited Modi's
popularity for BJP triumphs, and the two are anticipated to campaign together
in future elections. The coalition stresses integrated governance from the
Centre and the State, which is seen as critical to the BJP's success in the
state.
The
unwavering trust of the countrymen in the illustrious leadership and public
welfare policies of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji has once
again been reflected today in the historic outcomes of the Assembly elections. The
formation of the BJP-NDA coalition government for the first time in West
Bengal, for the third consecutive term in Assam, and for the second time in
Puducherry is the fruition of this boundless trust. This unprecedented public
mandate from the people will impart a new momentum to the fulfillment of Prime
Minister ji's grand resolve of 'New India-Developed India'. Heartiest
congratulations to all the dedicated office-bearers, tireless workers, and
victorious candidates of @BJP4Bengal @BJP4Assam,
and @BJP4Puducherry for this historic victory. Heartfelt thanks and salutations
to the people-public who have bestowed their invaluable blessings on good
