Bhubaneswar, 04 May (H.S.): Schools run by Vidya Bharati, Sikshya Vikas Samiti have once again delivered an exceptional performance in the Class 10 board examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, continuing their consistent record of academic excellence over the years. Students of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandirs have achieved remarkable success in the 2026 examinations, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 99.97 percent. The details were shared at a press conference organized in Bhubaneswar by Shiksha Vikas Samiti, Odisha, the body that manages these institutions.

Addressing the media, Dr. Kishore Mahanti, President of the Samiti, stated that a total of 15,214 students from 322 Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir schools appeared for the examination this year, out of which 15,209 students successfully passed. He highlighted that 317 out of the 322 schools recorded a 100 percent pass result, reflecting the high academic standards and disciplined learning environment maintained across the network.

Additionally, 15 schools achieved a significant milestone where all their students secured more than 60 percent marks.

Dr. Mahanti further informed that across the state, around 2,400 students secured A1 grade, which corresponds to scores above 90 percent, and notably, 779 of these high-performing students belonged to Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandirs. Providing a breakdown of results, he said that 2,586 students secured A2 grade, 3,674 students achieved B1 grade, 3,878 students passed with B2 grade, and 2,865 students secured C grade.

Adding to the achievement, two students from Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandirs emerged as joint state toppers, each scoring 588 marks out of 600. These students are Partha Sarathi Mahanta from Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in Baripada of Mayurbhanj district and Ashutosh Nayak from Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in Soro of Balasore district.
