04 May (HS): In the august presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief
of Army Staff of the Indian Army Upendra Dwivedi, the Sanskritik Shaurya
Sangam program was organized by the Northern Command and Central Command
of the Indian Army in Arail, Sangam city Prayagraj on Sunday night. Industrial
Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi also
participated in it. Minister Nandi reached Prayagraj from Delhi along with
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. In Prayagraj, the Defence Minister was welcomed
and greeted by army officers as well as public representatives.

Minister Rajnath Singh praised the dedication and patriotism of the soldiers,
saying that their ideals of 'Nation First' and 'Service Before Self' have been
the cornerstone of India's military traditions, consistently reflected from
ancient times to contemporary operations like 'Operation Sindoor'. He said that
the valour of the Indian Armed Forces is not limited to the battlefield; they
are also the first to respond to relief and rescue operations and provide
humanitarian assistance during natural disasters and other crises, both within
the country and abroad.

Minister said, Our soldiers take up arms to protect the countrymen and
deliver food, medicines and other essential assistance to the needy in times of
crisis. This is the most unique identity and greatest characteristic of our defence
forces.

Nandi said that this program is dedicated to the country's cultural heritage
and the valor and glory of the Indian Army. The nation's military is vigilant
and alert on India's borders. That's why we are safe in our homes. The unparalleled
bravery, valor, and indomitable courage of the Indian Armed Forces have
established 'Operation Sindoor' as a golden chapter in India's military
history.
The
Sanskritik Shaurya Sangam event, organised by the Indian Army, is a
confluence of national security, art, and cultural pride. The Army's cultural
heritage and valorous traditions were showcased, with participation from
military bands and renowned artists. The event was aimed at showcasing the
blend of culture and valour (valour) of the Indian Army.
