04 May (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Monday
met citizens from various districts by holding 'Janata Darshan' at his camp
office, 7-Kalidas Marg, Lucknow, listened to their problems and gave necessary
directions to the concerned officials to ensure quick, effective and just
solutions. During the Janta Darshan programme, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav
Prasad Maurya carefully listened to the personal and public problems of
hundreds of people from different districts of the state and gave clear
instructions to the concerned departmental officers for their quick and
effective resolution.
A
large number of men, women, the elderly, and youth attended the Janta Darshan,
presenting their problems directly to the Deputy Chief Minister. Most of the
cases involved land disputes, revenue-related issues, medical assistance,
pensions, housing, roads, electricity and water problems, police action,
education, and employment.
Maurya
stated that Janta Darshan is a medium for direct communication with the public,
revealing ground realities. He directed officials to ensure there is no laxity
or negligence in resolving public issues. He also clarified that on-the-spot
inspections should be conducted where necessary, and timely relief should be
provided to victims.
The
Deputy Chief Minister said that the needy and deserving should receive the full
benefits of all possible government facilities. He also stated that the
government is fully committed to the welfare of the general public and that
public interest is paramount. He assured the gathering that the government will
take every possible step to resolve their problems and that no victim should
return disappointed—this is the state government's priority.
Maurya
assured the complainants who came for Janta Darshan that every possible
solution will be found for every problem of every person. He instructed the
officials that every problem of every complainant should be resolved quickly
and satisfactorily. He instructed that the problems should be resolved
completely and the accountability of the concerned should be fixed for solving
the problems. He instructed that timely resolution of public problems should be
ensured. There should be no negligence at any level. He said that cases of
harassment and illegal occupation of land should be resolved with utmost
seriousness and sensitivity and strict action should be taken wherever
required.
During
the public hearing, he listened to the problems of each individual with utmost
seriousness and gave instructions to the concerned officials to resolve the
problems. He assured the complainants that they should not worry, their
problems would be resolved and they would also get the facilities provided by
the government. He also instructed the concerned officials that the problems
should be resolved in such a way that the troubled people are completely
satisfied and they do not have to wander anywhere again and again. He listened
to the problems and complaints of women, handicapped people, elderly people
etc. and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials to resolve them
on priority basis at a fast pace.
In
most of the land related cases, he directed the concerned District Magistrates
to form a joint team of officers and employees of the Revenue and Police
Department and send them to the spot and get a meaningful solution.
