
Pune, 04 May (HS): Sunetra Pawar has won the
Baramati by-poll elections with a record margin of votes of 2.18 lakh margin.
The voters polled 2,18,034 votes in favour of Sunetra Pawar. The remaining 22
votes together could not even cross the number of voted of 1.000 votes and
received 935 votes.
With this Senetra Pawar broke the record of Sunil Kumar Sharma wh had
won the Sahibabad seat ion Uttar Pradesh by a margin of 2.14,935 votes in 2022.
Sunetra Pawar has thanked the voters on her X Handle and called it a tribute to
late Ajit Pawar in the true sense. The
support by the people of Baramati provides a valuable strength after loss of
her life partner, she had said in her post.
Sunetra Pawar also expressed her gratitude to all
the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party for the unconditional support to
her. She said that she would live with the faith expressed by the people in
Baramati and the party leaders. She appealed to the party workers not to
celebrate the victory loudly and start working honestly on the principles
followed by late Ajit Pawar.
